This opportunity seeks a qualified professional with expertise in behavior analysis to provide leave coverage for a K-12 school environment. The role primarily focuses on delivering specialized behavioral support to students, ensuring continuity of care during the temporary absence of the regular BCBA.
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Anoka area)
Duration: Contract role from January 5, 2026, to February 9, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week
Position Type: Leave coverage BCBA support, open to onsite or virtual arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and provide data-driven recommendations to improve student outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with educational standards
- Support the school team in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles, assessment, and intervention techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Valid licensure to practice behavioral analysis as applicable
